Elatus is a figure from Greek mythology. He is a Centaur who fought against Heracles when he attempted to drink the sacred wine of the Centaurs. He was killed by Heracles via a poisoned arrow. The arrow struck through his arm and hit Chiron in the knee, eventually leading to his death as well.
